Ultimate Utrecht! International Student Internship

Twice every year there are opportunities for KPPP students to join an international internship. In May, Marnix Academie in Utrecht hosted a group of primary and pre-primary students for a week. The students visited several Dutch schools, compared their experiences of teaching and cycled to some cultural sites in the countryside.

Teaching at the Department of Pre-Primary and Primary Education is based
upon building quality professional relationships with students to prepare them for a progressive concept of education.

The department has a leading position among university faculties preparing teacher nationwide and uses current teaching methods combined with an emphasis on self-reflection.

Our department has rich international partnerships with other European universities with Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral student exchanges within the ERASMUS+ programme.

The Department of Pre-Primary and Primary Education cooperates with a range of local schools which helps prepare our students for the demanding requirements of being a teacher today.
